Reports in this morning’s papers claimed that Ian Holloway could replace Paul Ince at MK Dons to set up a tasty opening clash of the season between City and the MK Dons at The Walkers Stadium.

Ian Holloway, who was sacked not too long ago after failing to avoid relegation with Leicester is apparently being lined up as the next MK Dons manager if Ince leaves for Blackburn according to the News Of The World.

This would set up a very tasty encounter on the opening day, with Holloway possibly coming back to the club he got relegated only 1 month or so earlier.

Many fans have mixed feelings about Holloway but any manager who gets a club relegated in the fashion that he did with Leicester deserves to be sacked.

And now for us fans to get behind Nigel Pearson and his blue and white army for the forthcoming season!

5 Replies to “Holloway to MK Dons?”

  • Dazza71 – Well, Martin Allen had to go, things were going on behind scenes. Megson just left us but Holloway was here for the majority of the season and even bought 7/8 players in at the January transfer window.
Blackpoolgas – Why is it harsh on Ollie? He built his own team in January, even after an impressive win against Coventry he said ‘this is my team now’ so no excuses really, and his tactics were also puzzling!

  • I could see this happening weeks ago and knowing our luck he will get mk dons promoted and we will still be league 1 and then the fans will wish we had kept him

  • Holloway has gone, so wherever he ends up shouldn’t really worry us should it. Lets just hope he doesn’t come back to haunt us they eh!
