Heading in the right direction

Thanks to some bullet headers from Patrick Kisnorbo against Ipswich and Southend, Leicester seem to be finally finding their feet in the Championship. After losing the opening two games City fans started to frantically press the panic button at the thought of another long hard season. However, three games later and 7 points in the bag. City fans will be a little bit more optimistic about the up coming season.

Some fans believe that the wins against Ipswich (3-1) and Southend (1-0) was due to the opposition not being the strongest, rather the Leicester playing well. Either way the opposition still need to be beaten and Leicester did just that.

In a strange way the most encouraging thing about the points that Leicester have picked up so far is that Leicester haven’t played to their potential. Although they did look good in spells against Ipswich the team still hasn’t hit top form. Hopefully this is a good sign because it means that there is still more to come from this young squad.

Leicester currently lie in 11th position which means that they are in the top half of the table. Most City fans will be hoping that Leicester can stay in the top half of the table for the rest of the season and possibly flirt with the play off positions.

The majority of football fans believe that it is after 10 games that you can start to guess on what type of season their team is going to have. Lets hope that when Leicester reach the 10 games mark that they are still on this unbeaten run and starting to show some form that could get even the most pessimistic fan a little bit excited about watching Leicester play.
