Leicester City left back Christian Fuchs has said the squad will take the point from the trip to Bournemouth last weekend and just move on.

Playing out the scoreless draw at Dean Court it was certainly a tough tie against Eddie Howe’s side and it wasn’t Leicester’s best showing but we still could’ve nicked the game with Shinji Okazaki’s effort.

Knowing we weren’t at our best though, Fuchs told lcfc.com as he met with the media following the game, that simply put Leicester had to move on and take the point.

‘First half, we didn`t play well. Nevertheless, we defended well and that was the best part of the game, we defended as a team and we didn`t concede a goal. With a little bit of luck in the second half, with Shinji`s chance, we might have been able to get more than a point from here but I think we have to be happy with a point. Bournemouth are a great side, playing good football and they have great combinations. We played our part. Giving the game, you have to be happy with the point.’

With the international break now in full flow, Fuchs went on to say that it provided the players who remain at Belvoir a good opportunity to recharge for the games ahead.

‘It is good that we have a break now. We can come together, some lads will be away on internationals, and we will come back with a fresh mind.’

Having been hit with his eye injury in training last month that kept him out of recent matches, he was obviously pleased to have made his return.

‘It feels good to be back on the pitch. It was a tough time for me. Usually, as a footballer, when you have an injury with your legs it`s okay and you accept it. It was tough to watch the team but I`m happy to be back.’
