Paul Dickov feels that Matty Fryatt has the qualities needed to go all the way to the very top.

Dickov, who returned to Leicester in the summer, believes that Fryatt deserves the praise that comes his way as he has the quality to play at the very highest level: ‘I think Matty could go all the way, he’s quick, he’s strong, he’s got a great eye for goal,’ Dickov told BBC Radio Leicester. ‘I told him I think he might have 20 goals by Christmas.

‘He deserves it (recent praise), he’s worked hard, his finishing has been excellent.’

The 22-year-old joined Leicester from Walsall in 2006 and has so far scored 14 goals this season.

Dickov, who has been hampered by injury since his return to the club, made his return as a late substitute against Yeovil on Tuesday but he knows it’ll be tough to get back into the side, adding: ‘I’ve just got to make sure I’m ready, get my chance and take it.’

Do you think that Matty Fryatt can play at the highest level?
