Sky Sports are claiming that a source close to the club have confirmed that we will not be entering another offer for the Bristol City striker.
‘We felt we made a very favourable offer for Nicky Maynard and were surprised when it was turned down. City have made their position clear and it is time to move on and look elsewhere.’
It’s been a very strong line by Bristol City to take, as £4.75m, our last offer is a hefty sum of cash for a player outside of the Premier League, but this story won’t go away really until Maynard signs the contract on offer at the club.
