Sven-Goran Eriksson believes that Vasalund played very well in the first half, but lacked the legs to play at that tempo for the second.

Speaking to lcfc.com Sven said.

‘I thought Vasalund played very well in the first half. They were physically strong and very organised, but I don’t think they had the legs to play the way they did for two halves and it became easier for us. There was some good football, four goals and physically we are ok. The fitness levels seem rather good and the new players are settling in well.’

Given we changed 10 players at half time with only Schlupp keeping his place on the pitch, I’m sure that also had a lot to do with the second half.
