It was being reported on Sunday that Leicester City and Hull City had now come to an agreement over the fee for goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic.

Sky Sports reported that their ‘sources’ understood that a fee had now been settled on by both clubs for the 32 year old stopper and that he had now left Hull City’s training camp out in Portugal to hold talks on personal terms.

With the departure of Ron-Robert Zieler back to Germany the other week, we did need cover for Kasper Schmeichel and Ben Hamer and we’d long been linked to the one time Swiss international this summer.

The speculation on the fee so far is in the £2-3million range and it’s expected the announcement will come in time for him to join and be named in the squad for the Premier League Asia Trophy tie against West Bromwich Albion next Wednesday.
