Sven-Goran Eriksson has admitted that Leicester have to come to terms with teams raising their game when we face them, but he was pleased today with the performance.

It’s not the greatest excuse for some of our performances and results so far, but there is a fair element of truth to the fact that with the expectations surrounding us and the money spent in the summer, teams probably raise their games a touch.

Speaking to Talksport just after the match, Sven said about Brighton.

‘Maybe we haven’t coped as we could have, but we have to learn to live with that because wherever we go that’s the reality and of course we never hide what our goal is this season. It’s a good win for us, I understand why Brighton were top of the league.’

Hopefully they’ll be a bit more reaction about the game before the end of the night. The scoreline doesn’t suggest it, but a better share of possession but the chances we created has to bode well in terms of us turning the corner.
