Dyer becomes signing number two!

Lloyd Dyer has become the second signing in as many days, following the capture of Michael Morrison from Cambridge on Monday, which was fully confirmed today.

Dyer has arrived on a free transfer, signing a three-year contract after his deal with MK Dons expired on Monday and as he told lcfc.co.uk Nigel Pearson is looking forward to working with him ‘Lloyd is another player who is going in the right direction. He’s an exciting, tricky winger and I am looking forward to working with him.’

I think Pearson will probably know Dyer, 25, from his time with West Brom, as he would have probably been on the coaching staff at the Hawthorns at the start of his career? If this is the case it should give him more scope to know exactly what he can do, which after a difficult time after making his breakthrough has seen him make an impact with the Dons, who didn’t want to lose him.

MK Dons are our opening opponents in League One this season, so he is in line to instantly face them, having played a major role in helping them into the same league as the one we have just dropped into.
