Former City favourite Paul Dickov has officially re-signed on a 2-year contract.
The feisty Scot, was unveiled at The Walkers Stadium on Thursday and was given the number 27 shirt.
He scored 37 goals in 89 games between 2002 and 2004, with a high being promotion under then City manager Micky Adams.
Last season Dickov went on loan to Blackpool and scored 6 goals in just 7 starts including the winning goal in the dying minutes versus City at Bloomfield Road.
The 35-year old was released by Manchester City this summer and despite holding talks with both Blackpool and Canadian side Toronto FC he decided to re-join the City Faithful.
Nigel Pearson commented on the capture of the striker: ‘Paul has all of the attributes you require to succeed as a footballer. He has tremendous spirit and I am delighted to be able to bring him here.’ Speaking to Lcfc.com.
I am sure City fans will welcome back the prolific striker and Dickov will be involved against MK Dons on Saturday.
Good Luck Paul.

At first I wasn’t really that keen on him returning, not because of the way he left us last time but because I thought he lacked the quality and was to old. Now he has returned I’m very happy as he has qualities that I think can help us back to the Championship.
Joke.
Dig ’em up.
lets just see what he can do first before people slate him please
Agree with that completely lcfc!
