Neil Danns will miss our next four games through suspension, but Andy King could be in contention for the Forest game.

Speaking to lcfc.com Nigel Pearson confirmed that the club would not be appealing the red card of Danns.

‘We’re not going to appeal because it’s not one we would be able to win. We’ll have to deal with his absence.’

In better news, Richie Wellens is nearing fitness but he won’t be back in time for Forest, but it’s possible Andy King will be.

‘Richie won’t be available for tomorrow, but he’s got a chance for Saturday. Kingy will be involved at some stage this week, he will be in the squad, the important thing is that he’s available.’

With such little football lately it’s unlikely King will get more than maybe a 10 or so minute run out depending on how the game is going, but it will all help with his fitness levels.
