City three face fitness battle

Leicester City are facing a potential selection nightmare for the visit of Championship leaders Reading on Saturday, the possible loss of one or both of their main centre-backs.

The last thing City need is to be facing the free-scoring Reading forwards with a big hole in their heart.

Reading’s 91 points have lifted them 16 points clear of second-placed Sheffield United at the top of the table.

They have scored 81 goals in their 39 matches so far this season and Leicester will need to be at their defensive best to stop them.

But, Patrick Kisnorbo has a knee problem which requires a precautionary scan and Paddy McCarthy still has thigh trouble.

Perhaps in even greater danger of missing the match is centre-forward Matty Fryatt who has groin problems. He too faces a scan.

Coach Ray Graydon told the club website: ‘He is the most serious one at the minute.’

City’s only good news is that Danny Tiatto could return to training this week which Graydon described as ‘a big plus for everybody.’

Fryatt’s loss could result in a first start for Chris O’Grady, scorer of the recent winning goal at Luton, his first in the Championship.

lets not worry too much just yet. I have no problem with O’Grady partnering huuuuuuuume up front, it just worries me if Paddy and Kisnorbo (the phoenix – just like Jimmy Willis) are both struggling. They are surely the backbone of next seasons push.
Frankly though, i think Reading are avout to have their ‘wobble’. Back us to come through it with a clean sheet. 1-0 to City. i have a feeling……..

Probably a draw seeing as you are improving whilst they are still very hard to beat, 2-2 for me.
