Bulgarian international Aleksander Tunchev is being reported as flying into England for talks with Leicester today about a possible move to the Walkers Stadium from CSKA Sofia.

Tunchev, 26, is believed to be attracting plenty of attention throughout Europe with other English clubs, as well as German, Greek and Russian’s interested in the central defender but Nigel Pearson looks to have moved to the head of the queue and an £800,000 move from the financially troubled club, according to reports, could see him complete his first big money signing as our gaffer.

If this deal does come off then it seems to show that Milan Mandaric is giving Pearson back some of the money that is being generated by player sales, and a sizable amount at that, which is good news.
