You may or may not remember but almost a month ago we reported this story:
Reports have suggested that Leicester are looking at ex-Swiss international Bruno Berner.
Berner, who has 16 caps for Switzerland and featured in Euro 2004, can play at left-back, centre-back and on the left-wing and was recently released by Blackburn Rovers after only starting two games in his one-and-a-half-years at Ewood Park.
Last night, it emerged that he had allegedly been having a medical at City, but this could just turn out to be a ‘pre-trial’ medical.
He had started a trial with Norwich only a week ago.

Now Sky Sports have followed up the story almost a month later with this:
Skysports.com understands that West Ham and Nottingham Forest have shown an interest in Bruno Berner.
The Switzerland international has recently held talks with League One outfit Leicester, but a deal is yet to be struck.
That has alerted the attentions of Forest and the Hammers to the 30-year-old’s availability.
The rest of the story can be found here.

We now bring one more update on the situation: Berner is training with us but will be told in around 2-3 weeks whether he has a future with us.
