Leicester City have today confirmed a friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach for this pre season campaign.

The German Bundesliga side will travel to the King Power Stadium for the friendly on Friday August 4 and the game will carry a 7.45pm kick off.

With friendlies against Luton, MK Dons, Wolves and Burton Albion already confirmed for the summer, our pre season plans are taking shape nicely.

The game takes place just over a week before the Premier League kick off for 2017/18 and Monchengladbach finished third in Group C in last year’s Champions League competition – behind Barcelona and Manchester City – and that saw them enter the Europa League where they knocked out Fiorentina before bowing out at the Round of 16 stage to Schalke 04 on away goals following a three all draw.

All in it should be a good test for Craig Shakespeare and the boys before we kick off the campaign.

Ticket information for the game will be announced in the coming weeks.
