As was reported yesterday, apparently Huddersfield were in talks with the striker about a deadline day move, and now there are rumours that Bolton have entered the race?
Clearly the main link is the departure of Rhodes and Beckford’s ties with Simon Grayson, but would we really be looking to move Beckford on knowing he has goals in him?
Our friends at Vital Huddersfield seem to think the move may be a loan deal – which does make more sense possibly?

he was with our chairman last night.
Sounds like it’s on. I still think he’s our best striker – Nigel obviously disagrees.
Cheers Terrier, have again credited you as the source as I’m not finding anything dude. Good move for you absolutely no questions as I agree with Simon, and I’m not sure about this at all. There’s goals in the lad and it really should’ve been for us, but you’ll benefit.
Deal fell through at 10:58 – Beckford was at the Town stadium but Leicester pulled plug on deal after failing to agree on how wages would be split plus the fee that would make move permanent at end of season
Again thanks for the update dude, I can’t say I’m sad really because I don’t see why we should let one of our most natural finishers leave. I have to trust in Pearson but I suppose I don’t have the agree with everything he does!
