Audio – Ranieri On Harsh Sending Off

Manager Claudio Ranieri wasn’t best impressed with the referee following today’s game against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Travelling down to take on Arsenal today, Leicester took the lead through a Jamie Vardy penalty and whilst Arsenal undoubtedly had the control in the game – they weren’t doing much with it and when they did Kasper Schmeichel was more than enough to match them.

The game turned on two yellow cards shown to Danny Simpson and eventually saw him leave the pitch with a red, and for Ranieri that was where the game really turned in their favour.

Arsenal still needed a five minutes into stoppage time goal to take the win though and that wasn’t lost of the gaffer either.
