A below par Leicester City showing, a game edging towards a disappointing scoreless draw – yup these are the ones potential Champions steal late on.

Uncharacteristically for Leicester in today’s game against Norwich City at the King Power, manager Claudio Ranieri’s boys had more possession than the visitors on the day and they had about an average 13 shots on target which doesn’t seem to shabby.

Only three of those efforts were on target though and it certainly wasn’t a full flowing performance that fans have been used to from the side this year.

As plenty have pointed out though given the showing on the day, it’s game like this that sides challenging at the top tend to swing in their favour late on and that exactly what the side did with Leo Ulloa credited with the 89th minute deadlock breaker.

Ranieri was obviously delighted at the full time whistle, and what pleased him most was the belief the side showed to get the victory at that late stage.
